Refund Policy

 

All refund requests must be submitted via email to the appropriate commissioner and the treasurer.  Verbal requests to coaches, managers, commissioners, or other parties are not considered received.

Full refunds will be made for any team or program cancelled by MUSC.  All refunds and credits are at the discretion of the Board.

Competitive/Premier Teams:

No refunds on any payments.  Installment payments are still considered due and payable even if a member discontinues participation with a team during the competitive/premier team’s soccer year.

In house and Travel Recreational Programs/Teams:

Fall Season

Requests received prior to 1 week before the scheduled opening day will receive a full refund less a processing fee of $10.

Requests received on/or after 1 week before the scheduled opening day but prior to opening day will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds on requests received on or after scheduled opening day.

Spring Season

Requests received prior to 1 week before the scheduled 1st practice day for the division will receive a full refund less a processing fee of $10.

Requests received on/or after 1 week before the scheduled 1st practice day for the division but prior to scheduled 1st practice day for the division will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds on requests received on or after scheduled 1st practice day for the division.

Winter and Summer Programs

Requests received prior to 1 week before the scheduled start of the program will receive a full refund less a processing fee of $10.

NEW U4, U5, and U6 players

Members may request a credit to future season after trying up to 2 sessions and determining that the child is not yet ready to participate.  Request must be received no later than 48 hours after the 2nd session.  This is a one-time credit and is not transferrable to another family member or additional season.

Illness/Injury

Members that have an Illness/Injury [prior to 25% completion of any program] that prohibits the player from participating in the remainder of that season or program, may request a credit to another season.  Requests must be received timely and prior to the completion of the season or program.  Credit amounts are at the discretion of the board and are not transferrable to another family member.  A Doctor’s notes must be provided.
