Train with Milford’s High School Coaches!!

2018 Winter Training U11-HS (2007-HS)

The program consists of 8 one-hour sessions that will include SAQ, fitness, technical work and small sided games. The goal is to improve player’s first touch and decision making in tight place and give the player confidence to play at a high tempo.

Foran Head Coach Rick DiStefano and Law Head Coach Mike Gruber will be among the Instructors 

If registration allows, players will be grouped with their teammates in order to foster familiarity and team chemistry.

The program will offer opportunities for players from U11 to High School. 

8 Sessions: Jan. 7th - March. 11th

SUNDAYS 10 AM - 5 PM

(no session Feb. 18th)

 CT Speed School, Pepes Farm Rd. - Milford
These sessions will be limited to 12 players per hour.

 $185 per Player. 

10-11am  U11/12 Girls -11-12pm U11/12 Boys

Other Age Group times are TBD between 12- 4

MUSC Annual Meeting & Elections

MUSC's annual meeting and elections are quickly approaching. The Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, January 18, 2018. 

MUSC needs your help in order to continue to offer soccer programs for MUSC players!  It takes many volunteers to coordinate the MUSC soccer programs each year and MUSC is in need of new volunteers to help continue maintaining these programs in the upcoming seasons.   

Board meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month.  Please consider volunteering some time to help continue the efforts as well as help to improve the programs offered to MUSC players.  Please contact the nominating committee if you have interest and/or questions.

The term is 2 years beginning 3/1/2018.  The current 9 positions up for election are:

Vice President

Performs the duties of the President in his/her absence and in that capacity shall have the same authority as the President.  S/He shall carry out all other duties and assignments as may be delegated by the President.  The Vice President will be responsible for the scheduling of all fields and games.

Secretary

Maintain an accurate and timely record of the MUSC: maintain minutes of the meetings; send notices of meetings and maintain a record of the MUSC activities; shall keep a register of members and Executive Board members.  In the absence of the President and Vice President, the Secretary will assume the duties and responsibilities of the President. 

Registrar

Responsible for processing member records, registrations, creating team rosters, member passes and club databases and also for developing and delivering any reports needed by the club or commissioners to perform club processes.   Registrar will provide to District Registrar all necessary documents and information necessary for participation in District or other activities in order to print certified rosters and print and laminate coaches and players passes.  The registrar must upload seasonal registration information to CJSA.

Field Supervisor

Responsible for making sure that all assigned fields are ready for play.  This will include inspection and reporting problems to the City as well as making sure that lining and goals are set.  Report any field-related problems to the Executive Board.

U16/19 Boys & Girls Commissioner

U14 Girls Commissioner

U12 Boys Commissioner

U10 Girls Commissioner

U8 Boys Commissioner

Commissioners shall be responsible for all administrative duties pertaining to their division.  This will include coordination of teams at the beginning of each season.  The commissioner will maintain records and standings.  Resolve conflicts related to games, rules, and player eligibility.  Recommend approval of coaches.  Referral of problems to the Executive Board as needed.

Winter Little Kicks Program

The Milford United Soccer Club will be running our Indoor Winter Little Kicks Program and registration is now open at http://www.musc.org/

 

About Little Kicks: MUSC’s Little Kicks program is a pre-school age introduction into the sport of soccer. This program is specifically designed for three and four-year-old children to learn the base fundamentals of soccer through fun activities and games. During the weekly one-hour session, each child will meet new friends, learn a new sport, and use lots of energy.

U5: Sunday 9am or Sunday 10am

 

Registration is Limited
There will be only 20 registrations per hour. Saturday and Sunday sessions will be offered but canceled if there are not enough registrations per day/hour.

 

Equipment Requirements: Each player must wear shin-guards, sneakers/cleats and bring a size 3 soccer ball to the sessions. Please put your child’s name on their ball to avoid confusion.

 

NO CHILD CAN BE LEFT AT THE FACILITY UNATTENDED.
